Many people suffer from body aches and specific pains in their back. This condition is mostly due to bad posture, decreased physical activity, or weakened bones. You should try to keep your body active and running. In this blog, Rubina Ratnakar lists some exercises for lower back pain.
By doing physical exercise, you will see that your back will get stronger. So, basically, these exercises are for strengthening your back and eliminating the pain.
The first exercise we suggest is supermans. In this exercise, you lie on your stomach and stretch your arms like a superman. The next thing you need to do is to try to lift your upper body and legs as if you are flying. You will feel the stretch in your stomach and in your back as well. Repeat this at least 5 to 7 times.
The next exercise for curing your back pain is cat stretches. In this exercise, you need to come in the position of a cat and maintain some distance between your knees and hands. You need to make an arch of your back and hold this position for a while and then relax your muscles.
Knee to chest stretches is another option that can help in strengthening your back. You should lie down on the floor and then bend your knees to keep your feet flat on the ground. Hold your knee with your hands and touch it with your chest. You have to hold this position for 5 seconds. Repeat with the other knee as well.
Pelvic tilts are another great form of exercise that will help in strengthening your lower back. To do this exercise, lie down on the floor, bend your knees, and keep your feet flat. Arch your lower back and push your stomach. Hold this position for 5 seconds and then relax.
The bridge is another form of exercise that is popular because of the property to burn belly fat and strengthen your back as well. To do this exercise you need to lie on your back and bend your knees. With your face upwards you should lift your belly and slowly move it back. Do this exercise in repetitions for a minute. You will feel a flex in your back and your muscles will grow gradually.
