Even if you are not biking or doing any other form of exercise, it is essential to stay hydrated. Drink a lot of water not only during biking but during the whole day as well. Drink at least 6 glasses of water in a day. Take a water bottle with you when you go biking.

Another suggestion for biking in the heat is to try to bike when there is less heat. You should go cycling in the morning as early as possible. You can also go for an evening session in order to escape the heat.

The route on track you choose for biking will also play an important role in determining the easiness of your biking session. Choose a route that is near trees or near a lake so that there is cool air for you when you go biking. Biking in such areas will help in keeping them cool and a pleasant session as well.

Icy cold water is also something that can help you in a very hot ride. You should keep the water insulated in a good water bottle so that the water stays cold for a longer time. You may also pour some water on your head in order to relax and cool yourself.

You should choose the clothes and equipment according to the weather. Invest in a good bike and a great pair of shoes as well. The stuff of the clothes is very important as you are going to sweat a lot.

If you somehow go biking in the heat you should protect yourself from the sun. Use sunscreen to protect your skin from tanning and sunburns.

You should consider the direction of the wind when you go biking. Try to bike in the direction of the wind when you leave for cycling and when you come back, the wind should hit your back instead of your face.
