Coming to the disadvantages of using a fitness tracker, it is not a very accurate measure of fitness. We cannot rely 100% on them.

Fitness trackers are expensive and if you are looking for very accurate and efficient ones, they are going to make a hole in your pocket.

One of the shortcomings would be that you need to charge them from time to time that may affect the progress of your daily activity as the activity during charging will not be recorded.
