It is not easy to take a step towards fitness and start doing exercises. Everything needs to be done in the right way and in the right amount. Every beginner needs some help and guidance from an experienced trainer. In this blog, Rubina Ratnakar brings an exercise routine for beginners to follow in order to become fitter.

We would advise you to follow a simple and elevating routine. Don’t start with something too intense since you are just starting. You need to make your body habitual of all the exercise and working. Give your body some time to adapt to the increased physical activity.

We have a sample plan for you and you can modify it according to your own fitness goals.

Before you start doing any kind of workout, you should start going out for a walk. It is a great way of warming up and making your body prepared for the upcoming activity. Begin by walking for at least 30 minutes every day. Do take rest for one day in order to prep your body.

Once you are able to walk or jog without getting too much tired, you should then move to do some kind of workout. Circuit training is the best way to start doing some kind of physical activity. Circuits consist of a number of exercises lined one after the other. Pushups, lunges, sit-ups, and some sprints can make up a circuit to be followed.

When you do a good amount of circuit training, you should take some rest on the next day and then proceed further with your workout routine.

Make your workout versatile by adding different types of physical activities. You can do jogging or ride a bike on one day in a session of 30 to 40 minutes.

Take some rest on the following day and then do some walk or jog on the next day. You can increase the intensity of your workout once you get into the habit of exercising daily.
